Expansion of Resources and Technical Capabilities
Emad Haffar, Head of Tech Experts at Kaspersky META, has outlined plans to augment the company’s footprint in the region by increasing resources, technical capabilities, and functions. This expansion includes the introduction of new offerings to Kaspersky’s portfolio and the enhancement of professional services available to regional clients.
Focus on Artificial Intelligence and Privacy
Kaspersky’s recent reports predict that by 2025, artificial intelligence (AI) will become an integral part of daily life, with privacy concerns surrounding biometric data and advanced technologies taking center stage. The company anticipates that AI will be widely adopted across various sectors, necessitating robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive information.
The Global Research and Analysis Team (GReAT) at Kaspersky has forecasted significant shifts in the advanced persistent threat (APT) landscape for 2025. These include the rise of hacktivist alliances, increased use of AI-powered tools by state-affiliated actors—often with embedded backdoors—and more supply chain attacks on open-source projects. Kaspersky is proactively developing solutions to counter these evolving threats, ensuring that organizations in the META region are well-protected.
Collaborative Efforts and Industry Engagement
Demonstrating its commitment to the region, Kaspersky convened its largest partner conference for the META region, bringing together over 115 attendees from more than 65 companies. The conference focused on discussing cybersecurity industry developments, innovative solutions, and the company’s future vision, reinforcing Kaspersky’s dedication to collaborative growth and regional investment.
